Menai Oysters

Founded in 1994 by marine biologist Shaun Krijnen, this business produces Pacific oysters and mussels from restored beds in the Menai Strait. They handle everything from production and processing to packaging and delivery for wholesale and restaurant markets. They use purification systems to meet health and hygiene standards and are working towards SALSA accreditation. You can often find them at shows and events, where they serve oysters with champagne.
